PC Specs
PC generations are based on the CPU and motherboards used. Each generation had minor tweaks made (highlighted in bold) to improve performance for the more demanding newer releases.

OS Image
EZ2DJ ran on Windows 98 SE since 1st TRACKS, but with the Evolve 1.02 update the OS was upgraded to Windows XP SP3.
If your original kit HDD is having issues, you can make a back up of the game data and build a fresh image on a new drive. When building a new image for your machine, its recommended use a fresh Windows XP SP3 image and only install the necessary drivers and programs for EZ2 to run. It is not required to use a korean copy of XP or set korean locale.
After successfully creating an image and getting EZ2 booting, it's highly recommended to make a .img backup that you can easily restore to incase of future drive failures.
