[ES1] Tank Tank Tank! linking more than 2 units
I figured I'd post this here as I ran into trouble with this in the past and could not find any information regarding it online, and Bandai Namco America support was also not overly helpful. When linking more than 2 tank tank tank units (Such as 2 sets of 2) -- you do not need a router like the manual suggests, you simply need a 5 port ethernet switch. Simply connect all 4 of the ethernet cables to the game, set the station numbers in the test menu (From left to right, 1-4), and reboot the games. They should link and immediately start working.

ArcadeGame.Info Rules
ArcadeGame.Info - Community Rules Welcome to ArcadeGame.Info --- A community dedicated to arcade game repair, technical documentation, and preservation. Whether you're restoring a cabinet, diagnosing a PCB, or sharing some knowledge you've picked up along the way, these rules help keep this space useful, and on topic. 1. Be RespectfulThis should go without saying, but no harassment, hate speech, personal attacks, or otherwise toxic behavior. We're all likely to disagree on something, and that's okay, but let's keep hostility to a minimum please! 2. Keep discussion on-topicPlease keep all discussion on topic, and make posts in their closest matching category. We have off-topic boards for unrelated posts/banter. We reserve the right to remove or move off-topic posts as needed. 3. Be mindful of what you shareThere is a fine line between sharing of files/information that is primarily intended to repair something, versus intended for piracy. At this time we would prefer if ROMS, game data, and other game software is not shared here. Though some exceptions may be made in future.
